With his plucky banjo, sorrowful fiddle, and “antique” voice, Daniel emulates John Hartford’s artistry.  

“You had us in the palm of your hand,” commented a woman at the end of a show. Not only is the music solid, the authentic stage presence is delightful.

Hailing from Holland, Michigan, Daniel developed musically studying bluegrass with Nate Roberts at the Michigan Academy of Folk Music.  At the same time, he grew his performance skills studying acting with Jo Gray.
