In a lesson with Nate Roberts a couple of summers ago, he told us, "Learn from your audience... You will get the best feedback from your Grandma. She'll tell you what other people won't tell you, but it's the truth."
These programs are for you, Grandma! Now you won't miss a single word in our songs.
We brought programs to our last two shows, and what a hit! At The Farmstead we had the audience singing along on many songs. Before the show even started at The Warm Friend, we heard, "What a funny song this will be!" and "Oh, I love this song."
After the show, "Thank you for providing programs! Not many people do that, but we love it."
Daniel performed his first Solo Act at the Warm Friend (while Joseph knocked out an engineering exam at Hope College).
What a hoot! Playful and imaginative, Daniel kept the audience smiling.
After the show, the crowd enjoyed a Q & A. One man was reminded of a concert he attended years ago for a then unknown Earl Scruggs & Lester Flat opening for a new artist, Johnny Cash. "I look forward to seeing you on a national stage!"
"You had us in the palm of your hand," commented an audience member.
Thank you, Warm Friend, for a warm welcome!
